Remember, prior to starting any renovation it’s good to determine why you want to renovate as it helps keep the end goal front of mind during the process and will steer the project in the right direction. It could be you want to add value to your home to sell it, increase the amount of rent you can get, or perhaps you just want a style update. Setting an objective upfront can help inform decisions once the planning commences.
